It is confirmed that Singapore International 25-year-old midfielder Zulfahmi Arifin has moved from Home United to Hougang in the latest series of Cheetah signings.

A promising youngster from the NFA pipeline, Zulfahmi began his budding career with the youth of Protectors before moving on to the Young Lions in 2010 and then joined MSL side LionsXII squad three years later.

At his former club of Home United, he was noted for being set piece technician who brought forth strength & grit into the centre of the park and the ability to cover the back four as well. He has made 17 league appearances for the protectors.

Now with Zulfahmi’s arrival at Hougang United, and together with young gun Anumanthan already at helm, Hougang’s center will reinforced. His move will also re-unite him with former colleague and mentor Azhar Sairudin.

The board is pleased to have Zulfahmi Arifin join us for S.League 2017.

Zulfahmi Arifin’s message to fans and supporters,

“I hope to show everyone that my team and I will do our best, to entertain the fans with good positive football.”
