Hougang United have revealed all the coaching staff that will be involve in the team for the 2013 S-League Season.
They are (from top to bottom):
Alex Weaver (Head Coach)
Johana Johari (Asst Coach/Prime League Coach)
Rezal Hassan (Goalkeeper coach)
Nahar Daud (U-18 Coach)
Amin Nasir (U-16 Coach)
Alex Weaver, a 36 year old coach, hails from Stoke in England. His experiences included a stint in the Stoke City’s Academy for two years, and stints in Seattle for the past five years.
Prime League coach Johana Johari has coaching stints in FAS, and also was a match commisioner for past S-League matches
Many adjetives to describe Mr Rezal Hassan, our goalkeeping coach. Previously a player/goalkeeping coach for SAFFC, and also a former Singapore International goalkeeper.
Pictured with Mr Alex Weaver is Nahar Daud, our U-18 coach. Nahar is the only remaining coach left from last seasons’ coaching team. Nahar will continue coaching the U-18s, and also a former stalwart of the S-League, with Jurong FC, Tampines Rovers, Tanjong Pagar United, Sembawang Rangers and Geylang United, from all his playing days.
Amin Nasir, a hard tackling centre half during his younger days, is our new U-16 coach. Amin was part of the winning team of the 1994 Singapore Malaysia Cup team, and happens to be the elder brother of former Singapore captain and the current NFA U-16 coach, Nazri Nasir.
