Match Abandoned in the first half.
Hougang’s U-14 match against Tampines Rovers has been abandoned and postponed to a later date, due to the Lightning Warning System (LWS) being set off few minutes before half time at Serangoon Stadium on a Saturday afternoon.
Azlan Alipah’s boys were dominating in the game against the Young Stags, however, the visitors opened the scoring as early in the 23rd minute after a fine counter attack.
The Young Cheetahs fought hard, however, unable to find a breakthrough till the whistle was blown by the referee, due to the activation of the LWS.
The Cheetahs will meet Balestier Khalsa next at Hougang Stadium next Saturday.
