Hougang United have also extended the services of veteran midfielder Nurhilmi Jasni for the upcoming 2017 season. The 29-year-old joined Hougang United in 2012 and has made over 100 league appearances during his time with the Cheetahs. An industrious midfielder by trade, however, can be called upon to fill the position of centerback when the need arises; a switch he demonstrated flawlessly in the last third of season 2016.
