Hougang United is very pleased to have secured Japanese midfield maestro Fumiya Kogure for another S.League campaign. Winner of Player of the Year in 2015 and nominee this year, the 27-year-old’s contribution in the engine room is unquestionable as he brings about technical assurance on the ball, consistency in midfield and a touch of class in Hougang’s attacking third.
The attacking midfielder has made 27 appearances, making 9 assists and scoring 8 times in all competitions.
Kogure has six years of J.League experience, five with J1 side Albirex Niigata before moving to Mito Hollyhock in the J2 league.
