Hougang United contested a friendly against NFL Div I side Tiong Bahru United and come out 3-0 winners.
Tiong Bahru United, coached by former Dolphins midfielder Lee Man Hon had a youthful side with average age of just 24 years old. The former team of Hougang’s no. 20 Robert Eziakor however, struggled with the youthful and newly assembled Prime League Squad, which is led by Assistant Coach Johana Johari.
Hougang’s goals came from Faozi Rosli #35 in the first half and two goals from substitute Nicholas Lee #26 in the last ten minutes in the game.
The Prime League Squad will face Albirex Niigata in another friendly this Wednesday 27th February.
