The Cheetahs, with an all-important S.League fixture on Sunday aganist Warriors FC in mind, decided to give the boys a runout on a breezy Thursday evening at Hougang Stadium, with the home side winning 2-0.

Tiong Bahru, an NFL Division one side coached by a former Dolphin, Lee Man Hon, gave the Cheetahs a good run for the game and threatened the home side at some point. The Cheetahs however, managed to score two goals, both in the first half through their longest serving import player, Mamadou Diallo.

Other players that returned to the side includes Thomas Beattie, who had suffered a bout of influenza for two weeks, and Fairoz Hassan, who was stretchered off in a daze during the Prime League fixture against the NFA U-18 side. Both had came off unscathed and healthy after the game.

The Cheetahs will head off to Choa Chu Kang Stadium in a clean bill of health, and will be looking to fire all canons come Sunday.
