The COE Boys returned to action after a month long of fasting and Aidifitri celebrations. Only the U-16s and U-18s has games against their same aged counter parts.
The U16s, coached by Yao Peikang had two fixtures last week; a Saturday afternoon fixture saw them travelled to Jurong Stadium to face Woodlands Wellington. The boys had a luckier outing, with a slender 1-0 win. The only goal of the game came from striker Lukman, early in the second half.
However, on Monday evening, the boys faced Tanjong Pagar at Serangoon Stadium. They had a 3-0 reversal instead.
Nahar Daud’s boys faced Geylang International on Friday and managed to dig out a 2-1 victory against the Eagles at St. Wilfrid. Danial Afiq managed to take the home team the lead on the 18th minute, before Norisham managed to score the all important winning goal five minutes from time.
