The COE U-14s locked horns against the NFA U-13 at the Singapore Sports School on Tuesday evening. However, the boys were unlucky as they lost out on a solitary goal against the U-13 cubs.
It was supposed to be their third game of the season, however, their previous two games against Tampines and Balestier all postponed due to inclement weather.
The goal came right during the first half. The young Cheetahs looked the most likely to score, however, could not find a way past the resilient Cubs.
Azlan’s boys will next face Tanjong Pagar at Queenstown Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
