The Prime League boys secured their fourth straight league win, after dispatching Tampines Rovers 4-1 at the Clementi Stadium on Sunday.
With this league win, the Cheetahs leapfrog to fifth spot in the Prime League competition.
All the goals were scored entirely in the second half. Sobrie Mazelan, who has played a bit part of appearance this season, manage to redeem himself in this game with a stunning hat-trick in 20 minutes to alert his head coach Johana Johari, that he is all ready to bang in the goals. Shameer Aziq scored another, his ninth goal of the campaign to grab all three points.
Tampines’ consolation goal was an own goal by Shahir Hamzah towards the end.
The Cheetahs will next meet Balestier Khalsa at Hougang Stadium next weekend.
