The Prime League boys were on action against the NFA Reds at Bukit Gombak Stadium on Thursday evening. Unfortunately, the Cheetahs fell to a 4-2 defeat.

It was their second defeat in a row, following a defeat against Home United the last game.

Amirul Adli opened the scoring for the Reds on 44th minute to give his team the lead, and that was the slender lead that his team held till half time.

However, five minutes after the break, Prime League top scorer Hazim Faiz managed to net his 24th goal for the season in spectacular fashion. The Cheetahs then managed to nick one goal back from the league’s second top goalscorer Shameer Aziq on 76 minutes. It was his 16th goal of the season.

Hazim managed to grab his second goal three minutes later, before Zulfadhmi Suzliman scored his side fourth goal to make the three points count for the Reds.

Hwang Kok Chang then net his goal from the penalty spot to make it 4-2. The game ended as both teams made a good account of themselves for the evening.
