Two goals in three minutes brought a victory for our Prime League boys, as they managed to win Tampines 2-1 at Hougang Stadium on Thursday.
The first half was evenly matched with both teams battling out for the points. However, nine minutes after the restart, the visitors took the lead.
However, battling from a goal down, the Cheetahs managed to grab the victory with two goals; first Shahir Hamzah scored on the 68th minute, and Shameer Aziq, scoring his 20th goal of the season, on the 70th minute.
The victory brought Hougang into fifth position, and the Prime League boys will end their season against Geylang International.
