Our new local signings

In our second featured post on our new signings, we will be talking about our local signings.
Recently the Cheetahs have signed three new local players.

HGFC.com.sg will reveal a bit of their biodata.

fairozhassan

Fairoz Hassan is a utilityman, who is mostly deployed at the heart of the midfield or as a supporting striker in his spells. Signed from Gombak United after impressing coach Alex in the trials. Fairoz Hassan also used to be our Prime League Player in the 2008 and 2009 season, before he left for Courts Young Lions (2010-2011) and finally Gomabak United.

jeremychiang

Jeremy Chiang is one of the most exciting signings we have for Hougang this season. Touted to be one of the fastest wingers of the S-League, Jeremy Chiang is was a former PTI during his NS Days in Home Team Academy. His spells include three seasons in Courts Young Lions (2007-2009), Gombak United (2010-2011) and Home United (2012). Jeremy journeyed up north from Bishan Stadium to be part of a exciting Hougang team.

shahirhamzah

Shahir Hamzah is a familiar face from the Hougang faithfuls. After spending almost entirely his youth career in the Northeast, Shahir, together with his brother Shakir Hamzah, went over to Courts Young Lions where both shined in the Cubs defence. Unfortunately, he missed the entire of last season’s Lions XII maiden MSL journey last season due to a ruptured knee ligament. Where his brother Shakir stayed on with Lions XII, Shahir decided to come back to where he started from to resurrect his career, back in the heart of the defence.
