In 1968, our first National Day Parade, it rained on our parade. Mr Lee Kuan Yew sat in his seat and said “The whole world is watching us and see what we are made of. We will brave on!”
Today, in his procession, thousands of Singaporeans are once again in the rain. We will brave on once again.
