After taking down the Sailors in Round 3, Hougang gunned down another title rival. The irrepressible Doi lashed home a stunner from 20 yards before slotting home a rebound to give the Cheetahs a quick-fire early two-goal lead.
Kopitovic halved the deficit but that was as good as it got for the visitors. Kyrgyzstani centre-back Dzhakybaliev stabbed in Lionel Tan’s flick-on at a corner before Shahfiq curled in a stunning free-kick from the edge of the area.
Down to 10 men after Baihakki Khaizan’s dismissal, the Stags conceded a fifth late on as Doi smashed in from long range to complete his hat-trick.
