HOUGANG SIGN FORMER HOME UNITED PRIME LEAGUE PROSPECT

Hougang United have signed 20-year-old striker Amir Zalani from Home United’s Prime League squad and the 3rd forward signing for Hougang before the 2017 S.League season begins.

A promising youngster who is also part of the Singapore U-21 setup, Amir Zalani’s captaincy at Home United has had him blossomed from an electrifying winger to an attacking ace; making 19 out of 21 prime league appearances and scoring 10 goals on those outings.

He scored twice in the recent Singapore Pools FA Cup finals against NFL side Siglap FC and securing his club’s 2nd consecutive FA Cup trophy.

Amir made his senior debut as a substitute on 11 June 2016 in a draw against Gerena Young Lions.

Hougang United is happy to welcome young sharp-shooter Amir Zalani into the Cheetahs fold.

Amir Zalani’s message to fans and supporters,

“I am very excited for this new journey! I’m hoping for a successful season and to gain as much experience with this club. Really looking forward to see the hougang hools! See you guys very soon!”
