There some questionable decisions made by referee , Jansen Foo and the mystery of Hougang United utility man Wahyudi Wahid dismissal as Harimau Muda B sneak in a 1-0 win over Hougang United , in a similar fashion to where the both sides met the last time round.

Despite dominating possesion in both half , the Cheetah was facing a young and resolute defence and kept on forcing Harimau’s wall of defence to break down.

Nor Azam Azih scored the winner for the Young Tigers after Wahyudi was dismissed by referee Jansen Foo which led Hougang fans demonstrating their discontentment.

The game started at a fairly tepid pace with both sides making use of their wingers.
However both keepers were not idle too. With Harimau goalkeeper rushing out many times to claim the through passes.

In the 33rd minute , ever-energetic forward Fairoz Hassan sent in a beautiful cross to Shunsuke Nakatake who took the shot first time which kept the goalkeeper working.

The custodian was then called upon to many more saves just before the break as the acrobatic skills of Erwan Gunawan almost got the better of IIhan Amirullah.

While Harimau missed those chances , they managed to make it count after Hougang’s Wahyudi received his marching orders which many did not agree.

However, from the freekick , Nor tapped in a rebound from Fadhil Salim.

Hougang United still have not secure seventh place with 3 games left. Mathematically , the Eagles can still catch up to the Cheetahs.
